Lemony Snickets: A Series of Unfortunate Events, was my first opportunity to work with a fantastic designer named Rick Heinrichs. Rick loves to design sets that don't require a lot of digital effects, so we had big painted backings, forced perspective sets, and an actual lake that was excavated inside a warehouse.
